A New Kitchen Without the Remodel
A full kitchen remodel runs $30,000 or more and tears your home apart for weeks. We refinish your existing cabinets to a hard, factory-smooth finish in the color you want, for a fraction of that cost, in days instead of weeks, with no demo and no mess.
Reno, Incline Village, and Lake Tahoe homeowners trust Colourscape for cabinet refinishing that looks like new cabinetry and holds up to daily life.
Color Refresh.
$150 to $175 per door.
Your layout works, the color doesn't. Doors sprayed off-site, boxes hand-painted, one color, your hardware goes back on. Standard one component enamel paint. One-year warranty. 5 to 7 days.
Cabinet Refinishing Pricing
Custom Finish.
Cost: $275 to $400+ per door.
For homes where the kitchen carries the house. Everything in the Full Transformation, plus custom color match to any sample or designer spec, glazed and specialty finishes, premium hardware sourcing, and Renner 688 conversion varnish, the same coating cabinet factories use. Two-year written warranty. 7 to 10 days.
Full Transformation.
Cost: $200 to $250 per door.
Doors and drawer fronts sprayed off-site for a factory finish, boxes hand-painted in your kitchen. The prep that actually makes it last: degrease, scuff-sand, bonding primer. Then two coats of a KCMA-approved cabinet coating, the durability standard cabinet manufacturers test against. Two colors if you want them, dark island, light perimeter. New hardware installed, we source it or you hand it to us. We touch up the walls around the cabinets before we go. One-year warranty. 6 to 7 days.
What every kitchen gets
No tiers on this part. Floors and counters masked and protected. Every door and drawer front labeled, so hardware goes back exactly where it came from. Doors sprayed in a controlled shop, not your garage. A written warranty on every job. Photos of the finished work before we call it done. And we leave the kitchen cleaner than we found it.
The 7-day promise
A remodel takes your kitchen for six weeks. We take it for seven days. Day 1: mask everything, pull every door and drawer front, label them, drive them to the spray shop. Days 2 and 3: prep. Days 4 and 5: color. Day 6: final coat and hardware. Day 7: doors back on, walkthrough with you, photos of the finish. Cook dinner Sunday, cook dinner the next Sunday in a kitchen you don't recognize. And if anything means we can't hit seven days, you hear it on day 1, not day 7.

Booking your kitchen
Here's the whole process, start to finish.
1. Count your doors and drawer fronts. Takes two minutes. With the count and the pricing above, you already know your range before you ever talk to us.
2. Call or text (775) 230-0312, or send the estimate form. Include the count and a couple photos of the kitchen if you have them. Most kitchens we can price from that alone, so there's no stranger at your kitchen table and no two-hour sales pitch.
3. Get a straight number and a real date. Not a ballpark that doubles later. The number covers everything in your tier, and the date is when we show up.
4. We hold your spray-shop slot. Your doors get a full week in the shop, which is why we only take a set number of kitchens each month. You're without your kitchen for seven days, not six weeks, and if anything ever changes that, you hear it on day 1, not day 7.
FAQs
-
Most kitchens take 7 days start to finish. Large kitchens and custom finishes can run to 10 because specialty coatings need cure time..
-
Not during the project. We fully prepare and protect your kitchen to get the best results. The good news is our process is fast and efficient, so you’ll be back to using your space in no time.

Only professional-grade enamel and urethane acrylics for superior durability and sheen retention. We use top-tier products from Renner, Sherwin-Williams, Centurion Wood Coatings, and more. We select the ideal coating for each project, from 1K polyurethanes to 2K poly and urethane systems, to ensure the best performance and finish.

Yes. Picking a cabinet color from a two-inch swatch is how kitchens go wrong, so we don't leave you there. During the consultation we look at color against your counters, floors, and light, and we'll tell you straight what has held up well in other Reno and Tahoe kitchens and what people regret. We help with hardware too, from reusing yours to sourcing new. Working with a designer? Hand us the spec and we'll match it exactly…. Stuck between two colors? We'll spray a sample so you're deciding on the real thing, not a paper chip."

Avoid harsh cleaners and use mild soap for care. If needed, we offer quick touch up services to keep everything pristine.
-
All year. Cabinets are inside work, and doors are sprayed in our shop no matter what the weather is doing. Winter is one of the easiest times to get a slot, so if you want the kitchen done without competing with exterior season, that's your window.

Every job carries a written warranty, one year on Color Refresh and Full Transformation, two years on Custom Finish. If the finish fails under normal use, we come back and make it right. That's also why we're picky about prep and coatings: the warranty only works because the failure rate is low.
Tired of looking at those cabinets?
You've seen the prices. You know the process. All that's left is counting your doors.
Call or text (775) 230-0312 or send the estimate form, and you'll have a real number and a date on the calendar. Seven days after we start, you're cooking dinner in a kitchen you actually like.
