When is exterior painting season in Incline Village?
Roughly late spring through early fall, once nights stay above freezing and the snow is gone. The window is short, so we book exterior jobs early in the year. Interiors and cabinets run all winter.
Do you work on log homes?
Yes. Logs take a different process than flat siding. We clean off dirt, mildew and loose stain, fill the checks and cracks where water gets in, then stain. The south and west sides take the most sun and wear first, so those are the walls to watch.
Can you work on my house while I'm away?
Yes. We keep you updated every day as the work moves along, so you don't need to be on site.
Do I need TRPA approval to repaint?
Usually not. TRPA treats painting as ordinary maintenance. The exception is color: homes near the shoreline have to keep the main color a subdued, medium-to-dark earth tone.
